You shouldn't make fun of people just because they have a disability.  What we do here is a joke; and it does go a bit too far at times.  We don't feel sorry for them, but we do feel sorry for the cards they have been dealt.  Most people who are or become handicapped had no choice in the matter and should be treated the same and afforded the same rights as anyone else.  That said being said.....

Is it not just another form of discrimination to say you can't make a joke about them???  Wouldn't that be the same as not including them in your workforce because they are different???

Here's the whole story on how we came up with the idea for Gimp Squad and how it came into being:

Myself and Commodore Sloan were talking to a guy a work about doing a sketch comedy website (Sunken Turd Productions).  This guy told us that he had a friend who was a quadriplegic has been looking to get into the same thing.  Later in the day we were talking about getting my brother into it as well, who's a paraplegic.  Now, we were talking all day about what became Sunken Turd Productions and it hit me at the end of the day that if we would have gotten everyone involved we wanted to, 20% of them would be handicapped in some way and I commented "Damn, we'll be the freaking Gimp Squad of Sketch comedy".  I quickly realized we could parody Geek Squad with this.  I called my brother, who has a great sense of humor and asked how he felt about it.  He thought the idea was funny and we went with it.

To take things a step further, I had recently watched the Penn & Teller: BULLSHIT! episode (Season 5 Episode 7, titled "Handicap Parking") where they were talking about how the American's with Disabilities Act has actually done more harm than good.  If you haven't seen this show, you really should, it'll open your eyes!

In conclusion; I was starting to feel that maybe I was going too far with the jokes and needed to explain myself.  No one on the staff of anything related to Catt Butt International, Gimp Squad or Sunken Turd Productions mean any harm to any disabled persons (some of us are disabled, in fact).
